Le Dessin Moderne / The Modern Drawing
Welcome to Le Dessin Moderne, a multi-disciplinary place of design and illustration. The galleries within display examples of recent work inspired by the Mid-Century Modern designs of southern California - as well as custom projects of my previous design firm JASONOAH Ltd. As a Taliesin apprentice and eventual key staff member at The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, I was immersed in the principles not only of modern/organic design, but also learning traditional methods of colored pencil and ink illustration- a lost art in today’s computer-rendered reality. Having refined and expanded upon these techniques, Le Dessin Moderne provides the opportunity to share original works, prints, or personally commissioned pieces of this unique and increasingly rare art-form.
