Twin Palms Butterfly #2 Ink Drawing Print
The Alexander Construction Company essentially changed the face of Palm Springs between 1955-1965, building nearly 2,500 post & beam mid-century modern homes while doubling the city’s population in the process. Their first development was the “Twin Palms Estates” neighborhood, with homes designed by architect William Krisel, whose use of standard methods and materials used in innovative ways created much loved homes with easy living and indoor/outdoor integration. Even today, these are among the most sought-after homes in all of Palm Springs. This beautiful, black and white digital print celebrates one of two dramatic ‘butterfly roof’ designs of Twin Palms and is printed on high quality 100% cotton vellum paper. It expresses in clear detail the contrast and crisp quality of the hand-drawn, ink on vellum original illustration.
