Twin Palms ‘Butterfly’, Palm Springs- William Krisel, Architect
Twin Palms ‘Butterfly’, Palm Springs- William Krisel, Architect
Limited Edition, signed and numbered Fine Art Giclee Print
The Alexander Construction Company almost single handedly changed the face of Palm Springs between 1955-1965, building nearly 2,500 post & beam mid-century modern homes while doubling the city’s population in the process. Their first development was the “Twin Palms Estates” neighborhood, with homes designed by architect William Krisel, whose use of standard methods and materials used in innovative ways created much loved homes with easy living and indoor/outdoor integration. Even today, these are among the most sought-after homes in all of Palm Springs. This color Giclee print celebrates one of two dramatic ‘butterfly roof’ designs of Twin Palms and is printed on 100% Natural Rag archival paper. It expresses in clear detail the color and texture of the hand-drawn, color pencil original drawing. Available with or without the “Twin Palms” text.
